Wood Sandpiper

A very nice (as always) juvenile Wood Sandpiper arrived on patch last night and was still on Black Hole Marsh this morning. Definitely high on my list of favourite waders, there's just something about 'em! I got some nice photos, not as good as the ones I got last August but I'm still really pleased with them.

This Greenshank looks more like a Yellowshank!
I've certainly never seen one with legs this yellow before.
