Later in the day the rain stopped, the sun came out and all the gulls off the river headed to the shoreline to see what tasty morsels had been washed in. I spent a while trying to look through them for the Kumlien's Gull or something new but it was just Herring Gull after Herring Gull after Herring Gull in all stages of plumage.
